Many thanks to the representatives of Parks Canada and Fort Folly First Nation who hosted us on Friday 9 June 2023 for a walking tour of Fundy National Park, New Brunswick, following the 2023 NASCO Annual Meeting in Moncton.
We loved learning about the innovative Fundy Salmon Recovery partnership, which is bringing the endangered population back from the brink.
We also heard about the local impact of the decline of the inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic salmon through personal accounts from locals who watched this population decline and expressed elation at seeing the salmon now returning to Fundy.
