On 9 July 2020, the NASCO Secretariat received an email from the depository (the Council of the European Union) with an application by the United Kingdom to accede to NASCO, and a letter to the NASCO President from Victoria Prentis MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Environment & Rural Affairs.
The NASCO President replied to Victoria Prentis MP on 24 July 2020.
The Council will discuss this application at the Inter-Sessional Council Meeting, to be held during 9-11 September.
