An Inter-Sessional Meeting of the West Greenland Commission will take place during 8-12 March 2021. Discussions at the meeting will include a new regulatory measure which must be agreed for 2021. Regulatory measures have been agreed by the West Greenland Commission for most of the years since NASCO’s establishment. These have resulted in greatly reduced allowable catches in the West Greenland fishery, reflecting declining abundance of the contributing salmon stocks. The regulatory measure agreed for the fishery at West Greenland in 2018, also applied in 2019 and 2020.
